Regulatory notes for buyers in Tanzania
Medicines must be registered with the Tanzania Medicines and Medical Devices Authority (TMDA) and imported by a licensed importer holding a TMDA import permit. Controlled medicines need additional permits.

Air freight to Dar es Salaam (DAR) usually takes about 4–7 days including clearance. Sea freight from Nhava Sheva to Dar es Salaam port takes roughly 3–4 weeks.
